  • KAWASAKI ZXR400 (1995-1998)

    Overall owners' rating
    3 out of 5 (3/5)

My first bike. Great bike to teach you how to ride through corners properly. Screaming engine, but a bit of a maintenance queen.

  • HUSQVARNA SVARTPILEN 401 (2018-2023)

    Overall owners' rating
    1 out of 5 (1/5)

The worst bike I’ve ever owned! Completely unreliable, constantly cutting out when changing down gears and would unexpectedly glide to a halt. It went back and forward to the dealer several times but they couldn’t resolve the issue. I eventually returned the bike with less 500 miles on the clock...

  • SUZUKI GSF650 BANDIT (2007-2012)

    Overall owners' rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

reasonably light, fast enough, decent handler, great engine, allow a couple of hours to change air filter and plugs, it's a pig to work on.

  • HONDA CBR500R (2022-on)

    Overall owners' rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

Great bike for long days in the saddle or short days ripping it up. The bike looks fantastic, it's flexible, comfy, and it turns every local back road into a race track thanks to accessible performance. Selling it because I now want two bikes: something better suited to chilled-out touring...

  • SUZUKI ADDRESS 125 (2023-on)

    Overall owners' rating
    5 out of 5 (5/5)

Euro 5 so i am thinking will need a watercooled scoot to not get eaten on the faster roads. Nope little oh me has seen 66mph on clock so take a bit of that its still a flyer. Not getting the proclaimed economy of indian access model on highway . 120 mpg i will take all day tho. Torque is linear...

  • KAWASAKI ZZR1100 (1990-1997)

    Overall owners' rating
    5 out of 5 (5/5)

Best features: Engine performance. Gorgous looks. Best seat ever for long distance (it needs to offer support, not cushion comfort.) Highly pleasant and readable dashboard. Unparalleled stability. Very nimble on twisty roads despite its weight. Good fuel economy, Excellent...

  • KAWASAKI W650 (1999-2006)

    Overall owners' rating
    5 out of 5 (5/5)

It's a standard bike. Doesn't do too much, but what it does do is fun because it's, well, simple. You kind of know you're not getting the best ride in the world with a bike designed like this, that's the charm, right? Regardless, not a fan of the front wobble that's hard to tamper down once...

  • SUZUKI DL1050 V-STROM (2020-on)

    Overall owners' rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

I was trying to replace a high mileage 2015 DL650A, that was a great bike. The new style mk3 650 VStrom felt completely different, despite being essentially the same bike under the skin, less substantial and less like the ‘big bike’ feel of the mk2. I took advantage of Suzuki’s discounting...

  • DUCATI MONSTER 1200R (2016-on)

    Overall owners' rating
    5 out of 5 (5/5)

Great for all day comfort and short blasts. Never a dull ride. The engine is an absolute peach, full of character and grunt. Brilliant technical specification geared for a pure riding experience.

  • APRILIA SL1000 FALCO (1999-2005)

    Overall owners' rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

Too Sporty to be a straight up Tourer and probably better for it! The Falco is a strange naughties Roadster more about fun and thrashing around than cruising to the south of France or setting 1:45's around Cadwell Park. Although you could do, if you had to.
